Measurements

The measurement tools quantify structures on DICOM images in physical units (mm, mm², degrees) calibrated from the pixel spacing in the DICOM header.

Measurements

Select a Measurement Tool

Choose from the toolbar: Ruler for linear distance (mm), Polygon for area (mm²), or Angle for angular measurements (°).

Draw the Measurement

Click to place the start point. Ruler: click a second time to finish. Polygon: click to add vertices, double-click to close. Angle: click three points.

Read the Result

The numeric result is shown on the image in mm, mm², or degrees, calibrated using the pixel spacing from the DICOM header.

Export to Protocol

Open the Protocol panel to include measurements in a structured report, or click 'Export as table' to download all measurements as CSV.
